House FAQs

  • For direct bookings, all reservations are eligible for a 100% refund if cancelled more then 30 days out from your check-in date. If cancelled less then 30 days but more then 10 days before check-in, the reservation will qualify for a 50% refund. Any cancellations made 10 days or less before check-in are not eligible for any refund.

    For bookings made on OTA platforms like Airbnb, refer to the cancellation policy posted on the listing for that particular site.

  • Your host, Mark is available at any time during your stay to answer any questions or resolve any issues. Although he will respond to your inquiries as soon as they are read, fast responses can only be guaranteed from 8am-10pm.

    We also have a local Guest Services agent we contract with who can be sent on-site to handle any urgent issues. Contact info will be made known closer to check-in.

  • Typically, check in will be at 3pm and checkout at 10am. We are willing to be flexible with these times depending on the schedule of our cleaning staff. Feel free to ask and we will do our best to accommodate you! Any deviation from these times is subject to a $40 early check-in / late check-out fee.

  • Yes! All exterior doors utilize Wifi enabled locks. You will be assigned a randomly generated door code that will be active for the duration of your stay. This code will typically be sent to you about 72 hours prior to check-in.

  • There are several cameras that provide surveillance for the entire exterior perimeter of the property. Cameras record 24/7 and are monitored on an as needed basis.

    We respect your privacy. There are no cameras inside of the property.

  • The house does not include firewood at this time. However, you are more then welcome to use any sticks or branches found in the backyard for kindling. There are several local firewood vendors in the area where you can buy bundles of logs.

  • In the event of a snowstorm, we contract with a local snow removal company to plow and salt the driveway, walkways, and deck. Our snow team is deployed once snow accumulation reaches 2 inches or more. There is also a shovel and bucket of salt left on-site if you feel the need to remove even more snow during your stay. Please contact us immediately if you feel the conditions of the walkways are unsafe.

    Although we do our best to maintain the walkways in the winter time, using these facilities in the snow is done at your own risk.

  • There are bedroom and bathroom linens left on each bed upon check-in. Spare bathroom linens can be found in the linen closet in the lower level bathroom.

    If you require extra bedroom linens, please reach out to your host and we will be happy to assist you.

Arrowhead Lake FAQs

  • Yes! Your temporary member registration with Arrowhead Lake grants you access to all community amenities during your stay. Please remember to wear the amenity wristband given to you at check-in while using any of the amenities.

  • Yes, Arrowhead Lake implements quiet hours to ensure the enjoyment of the community for all residents and guests. Quiet hours are as follows:

    Sun - Thurs: 9PM - 7AM

    Fri & Sat: 10PM - 9AM

    You may still enjoy our outdoor facilities during quiet hours, but please maintain a respectful volume as to not disturb our neighbors.

  • Smaller boats like kayaks can be brought into the community and used on any of the two lakes. Larger boats that require a PA boat registration are not permitted to be brought into the community by temporary guests.

    Arrowhead Lake offers a boat rental stand at the Island Pool Complex if you are looking to get out on the water.

  • Yes! Fishing is allowed in both of the community lakes with a valid PA Fishing License. Licenses are inexpensive and can be purchased instantly online at huntfish.pa.gov

    Please follow all rules and regulations on the posted signage at each lake.

  • No. Hunting is not allowed in the community. Please follow all firearms related rules of Arrowhead Lake during your stay.

    There are ample State Gamelands and State Forests that allow hunting within a short drive from the house. Please reach out to your host for recommendations!

  • To ensure safety and security in the development, Arrowhead Lake asks for the names and vehicle information of all renters coming into the community. This is done so security knows who is coming in and out of the community.

    Please send over the requested information to your host as soon as possible to avoid potential issues checking in at the Rental Office.

  • Violations of Arrowhead Lake bylaws are subject to fines. The most serious fines can reach $1,000. Please follow all community rules during your stay. The costs of any fines incurred will be added to the total cost of your reservation.

    For public safety concerns or egregious violations of community bylaws / PA state law, Arrowhead Lake Security may choose to trespass violators from the property. Anyone removed from the property for such reasons will forfeit the rest of their stay without a refund and will be held responsible for any and all fines incurred.
